We are grateful to receive the support of the CNIB. Please read their testimonial below and learn more about how ALF supports their work.

"With generous funding from the Alberta Law Foundation, CNIB was able to develop plain-language, legal information resources for Alberta residents who are blind, Deafblind, or have low vision. These resources are designed to help educate individuals about their human rights in various areas, including education, employment, healthcare, housing, transportation, the built environment, government and consumer services, self-advocacy, and legal services in Alberta. Access to this information also empowers people with sight loss to challenge discrimination when it occurs, which is far too frequently. CNIB – along with many other non-profit organizations who serve vulnerable populations – relies upon support from the Alberta Law Foundation to develop these important, community-focused initiatives. CNIB is deeply concerned that reducing the Foundation's resources will primarily impact marginalized communities and diminish long-term support for Albertans who need it most."
